Sports Authority $100 Gift Card Giveaway!

Man, oh man, I wish I could enter my own giveaway!

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to meet up with two Reebok reps at a local Sports Authority. During the visit, I was able to check out their running shoe line and speak with Alena and Kevin about all of the deets and specs in each of the shoes. (Did I mention you can now design your own shoe?! I was pretty fascinated by this and have been messing around with the feature on the Reebok site ever since!)

I’ve been giving the SmoothFlex running shoes a test trial for the past couple of weeks, and thus far, I am really enjoying their flexible feel on my feet. They’ve become my go-to shoe for walking Tally, and I really like wearing them to work. You see, I’m on my feet all day so I need comfy shoes that dry easily since I’m in and out of lots of water. I’ve been alternating the SmoothFlex with my Columbia Powerdrains and my feet have been super happy!

I can’t even explain how much I love the neon laces on my Reebok SmoothFlex shoes!

But, I realize y’all probably don’t care about why my feet are happy, right? More to the point, y’all are probably more interested in how you can win a $100 gift card to Sports Authority to make your feet just as happy, right?!

  1. Actually my favorite exercise to stay active is good old-fashioned walking! Breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the outdoors! And I could use some new walking shoes too! Yeah!

  2. My go-to favorite exercise to stay active (and to eat) is running! I am currently training for my 2nd marathon followed by a 2 week taper then a half marathon and then another 2 week taper and another half marathon! I love fall racing season and will definately need running sneakers to keep pounding the pavement!

  3. Mountain Biking is my favorite way to stay active! A lot of people wear headphones when they to but I love to be out listening to the sounds of the woods, breathing the fresh air, seeing all the wildlife. There are a lot of great trails in central PA so my choices are limitless. It is also a great way to get my pup out for good runs.

  4. Hey there – Im a bootcamp girl, for the most part. Give me and my clients a field, a track, something outside and let me loose on some hardcore drills – for them and me. I really enjoy Tabata style workouts, but when it’s just me and I’m “relaxing” I love a good game of tennis! :) Thanks for asking

  6. Oh yeah, I’m all about this =) Fave way to stay active?! That’s tough. Running is accessible, but I love to swim though. And biking, well that’s a challenge…and I love challenges. Do you know I’ve never attempted to climb. That’s on my to-do list.

  7. Favorite way to stay active is commuting to school!!! I love biking to school an not driving because I am being active as well as helping the planet and our transit system is not the greatest either he he!!!

  9. mtn biking is my MOST favorite. check out the pics on my blog of yesterday’s ride and you’ll understand.

    Went out for a 3hr/3k elevation ride in Breck yesterday and saw a moose! Plus the views and colors were off-the-hook – even if I was gasping for air at 12k.

    I’m am crazy for running too…but if I had to pick only one – it would be mtn biking.

  10. I go through the same cycle every year and at the worst possible times haha. I’m a gym rat, so I love lifting weights and trying to work on the “Muscle Hugification Process.” So normally I want to get bigger and eat more so I’m “thicker” around Summer. Then I see everyone else’s lean-ness and think, “What am I doing…” So I throw in the cardio and lighten up the weight just in time for Winter when no one can see it. So then I get frustrated and start bulking up for Summer and repeat the cycle haha.

  12. Hey Colorado gal! I just recently started following your blog as I have become obsessed with all things Colorado and outdoor activity since visiting there for vacation this summer! My favorite way to stay active is running! I just recently started and as a grad student its a cheap way for me to stay active and healthy :) It is my hope to run my first 1/2 marathon in the spring, so we will see how that goes!

    My FAVORITE way to stay active is by far PADDLING!

    I’ve been paddling [outrigger canoe, OC1 & OC6] since I was about 12 years old and it is a huge part of my life. Being out on the water is where I always want to be and I miss it very much!

  14. Maybe I need to finally have a Twitter to have another shot. Who doesn’t like $100 for apparel. Mine is running. It’s what helped me drop 40+ lbs and be where I am at now. Headed towards my first marathon!!! Best of luck in yours.

  16. My favorite way is to go hiking. I try to go every other day to stay in shape. I mix it up with some running but so far it’s the best thing I have found that works for me. I feel so accomplished when I make my goal.

    My favorite way to stay active? Used to be running, hands down, but now I’d maybe say a mix of running long for fun and shorter, high intensity workouts – love the feeling of pushing hard! Thanks for sharing this giveaway with your readers. :D

  18. I am very new to running, in fact I find it difficult to even run a mile! I am turning 49 years old on Thursday, sept. 13th and I am running my first Walt Disney World 5k in November! I have running gear and shoes but they are not the best. I am running/walking 3 days per week and the other 4 days I workout in front of my tv for “cross training”.

  19. Taking long walks with my wife, son and our puppy. Between pushing a stroller with a big baby boy and trying to keep our Beagle from chasing rabbits it works pretty well

  20. I love to run, but since moving to Colorado, I am much more active with my family by hiking and biking. I am going to be getting a new mountain bike soon and will be getting out on the trails even more.

  21. My favorite way to stay active is to run with friends. It’s a great way to keep fit and keep up with life! We can talk about what’s going on in our lives, what we have coming up, etc.

  23. My favorite way to stay active is running, walking, and taking Zumba! Walking as in walking to places that aren’t to far away or parking far away so I have further to walk. Every little bit counts!

  24. Wow!! I dont know what one thing i enjoy the most to stay active. I love playing softball since all my best friends are on the same team. I love bike riding in the cooler days, hiking in the mountains and swimming all the time. But I cant pick just one!!
