Curious About My Columbia Sportswear Deal?

As we were hiking this past weekend, I kept getting asked the same questions repeatedly:

“Where did you get those shoes?”
Columbia.

“Where did those hiking boots come from?”
Columbia.

“How about that sweet shell that seems to protect your head from these 50mph wind gusts?”
Columbia.

After awhile, I quit answering because I felt like I was starting sound like a snob….a Columbia snob.

(But on the bright side– I definitely think my friends will be making some Columbia purchases in the near future!)

Anyway, I have had a rough time encapsulating what my involvement with Columbia entails, and while I know that it is totally awesome, amazing, and I am loving every second, I haven’t been able to find the words to explain the OmniTen.

But guess what? Fellow OmniTen member Jon Bausman is clearly better with words….or video….than I am! He made this quick–and funny!– YouTube video that explains what the OmniTen are…and what we are doing with Columbia.

I don’t…. ummm. I can think of Columbia and North Face. Those are the two that come to mind.

I’m pretty loyal to Asics shoes and really anjoy Adidas clothing, but am not restricted to those. Great post!

Very cool. Did you have to apply? I am not partial to any brands, but I do buy quality since for what I do, I need it to last. Some brands are slightly more over rated than others. We tend to find ourselves buying a lot of Arc’Terx and Mountain Hardware.
